The Working Group of the Tyre Manufacturers Association held their first meeting of this year on February 2, 2016. Association members discussed the current issues in the field of technical regulation of tyres, in particular, amendments to the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union “On Safety of Wheeled Vehicles”, and the development of methodology for assessing road surface wear by studded tyres. In addition, the meeting participants discussed the topical issues related to the implementation of the new obligations on tyre companies to recycle used tyres in Russia and Kazakhstan.
