Members of the Tyre Manufacturers Association took part in the meeting of the Working Group to consider draft amendments No. 1 to the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union “On the Safety of Agricultural and Forestry Tractors and Trailers” (TR CU 031/2012), which was held in Minsk, Republic of Belarus, on February 22, 2017.

The technical regulation came into force on February 15, 2015. It establishes binding requirements, including that for tyres of agricultural and forestry tractors. Amendments to the Technical Regulations have been developed by the Republic of Belarus and, in particular, aimed at clarifying the conceptual apparatus and the conformity acknowledgement procedures provided for by the Technical Regulations.

Following the discussion, the Belarusian State Institute for Standardization and Certification (BelSISC) sent a set of documents to the State Standard of the Republic of Belarus on the draft amendments for their subsequent transfer to the Eurasian Economic Commission.
