Goodyear is one of the world’s largest tire companies. The company was founded in 1898 by Frank Seiberling and is named after Charles Goodyear, who was first to develop vulcanized rubber. Company employs approximately 65,000 people and manufactures its products in 48 facilities in 22 countries around the world. Its Innovation Centers in Akron, Ohio and Colmar-Berg, Luxembourg strive to develop state-of-the-art products.
Seven proving grounds are owned by Goodyear globally. The Goodyear products are sold in 185 markets. Goodyear is represented in Russia since 1993. The Goodyear brand portfolio covers such trade marks as Goodyear, Fulda, Sava, Kelly Tires, Next Tread. The company’s products are delivered to the whole territory of Russia and Custom Union countries.
